The following Board decision effects immediately: ONLY TEACHERS CAN CONTACT THE CHAIRPERSONS OR THE NJMTA OFFICERS. Should the parent contact any of the NJMTA chairpersons or officers will disqualify his/her child/children from all the NJMTA sponsored competitions and auditions in the whole year.

2nd Place - medal 3rd Places, Honorable Mention & Participants – Certificates All winners should make arrangements to pick up their awards at the State Conference if they cannot attend the award presentation at the conference. |

How to Enter: |
Teachers are to complete the competition entry form located in the “Registration Entry and Trophy Award Forms” section of the book. Teachers should collect fees from the students and supply all requested information, on both sides of the form.

Fee: |
$35 per student |
|
|
Duty Deposit Fee: |
$50 duty deposit fee is required for all participating teachers. The duty deposit fee will be refunded when he/she completes his/her duty. Please send a separate check from Registration Fee. |

Registration Deadline: |
Postmarked no later than Friday, October 1, 2010. Entries mailed after this date will be returned. |

Repertoire: |
Unaccompanied solo, or solo with accompaniment. Pieces written with a piano accompaniment must be performed with accompaniment. Selection of the repertoire is at the discretion of the teacher. Arrangements and transcriptions should only be used if no suitable age appropriate literature is available. No simplified arrangements will be accepted. It is the intention that the repertoire should be chosen from the solo literature for each respective instrument. |

Accompanists: |
Entrants are responsible for obtaining their own accompanists. Teachers may not accompany their students. NJMTA will provide recommended list should you require one. |
